Principal Investigator
Work Focuses on the use of innovative machine learning approaches (multimodal) with EEG, structural & functional MRI and genetic data (SNP, PRS) in order to find biomarkers to predict vulnerability to develop alcohol use disorder (AUD) and other mental disorders (depression). Use of a large dataset (ENIGMA) and big data-optimized applications (data mining SQL/Python) to reveal data patterns. Working with Python and its packages like Keras, tensorflow and more to perform LSTM, Random Forest, xgboost, deep learning and SVM.

Christian Richard
Senior Researcher
Trained in the neurosciences, functional genomics, computer science, and statistics, Dr. Richard has extensive experience in advanced statistical analysis, multiple programming languages (MATLAB, Python, R, and others), and all aspects of the conducting of human biomedical research including experimental design, statistical action plans, complex data analysis, and data visualization. Over the last two decades, his expertise spans human and non-human behavioral analysis and physiology including quantitative EEG, ERP, EKG, pupillometry, inter alia.
